ACQUA 3.3.200: New version. Performance further improved.
HEAD News Herzogenrath (Germany), August, 2015
ACQUA 3.3.200: New version. Performance further improved.
ACQUA 3.3.200, the newest version of HEAD acoustics advanced communication quality analysis system has just been released. The most important new feature: From now on, support of the motorized handset positioner HHP IV MotoMount is implemented in ACQUA. In addition, with version 3.3.200 a new ACQUA option (ACOPT 34) as well as many new features, for example regarding the measurement front end MFE VIII.1, are available.
HHP IV control via ACQUA
With the new ACQUA version, configuration and control of HHP IV MotoMount via ACQUA is implemented. Thus, a wide range of positions and various application forces can be approached and applied easily and with high precision. For each SMD one setting can be saved which can be used automatically during the measurement sequence. Furthermore, MECRP (Manufacturer Ear Cap Reference Point) settings can be adjusted for each measurement object.
MFE VIII.1: More options, more comfortable to use
Regarding the measurement front end MFE VIII.1, ACQUA 3.3.200 offers various new features which simplify the handling and expand the capabilities. For example, users now can easily remote control specific radio tester models via individual Python script SMDs. Furthermore, the audio codec Opus is now optionally available for the use with MFE VIII.1 (Cod-OPUS). This codec as well as the L16 codec now also support stereo. Regardless of the codec, MFE VIII.1 can now be used as primary front end.
New ACOPT 34: Calculation of the Speech Intelligibility Index
The variety of options for the communication quality analysis system ACQUA has been expanded with the new version 3.3.200: Now ACOPT 34 (Speech Intelligibility Index) is available. This ACQUA option offers a single measurement descriptor for the calculation of the speech intelligibility index according to ANSI S3.5-1997. The Speech Intelligibility Index represents how much a background noise impacts the intelligibility of a speech signal.
Detailed information on further features can be found in the    „What´s New …“ document.
